Mumbai – The first trip in my life that I really enjoyed a lot with my family and cousins. With my experience of living in Mumbai for one week, I want to share some views about this beautiful city “the city that never sleeps”. Mumbai teaches me a lot of things about life. When you spend some time in Mumbai you would feel bad to leave the city. You feel like that you are leaving your home. The Maharashtrian is a city overflowing with culture and excitement that no one can forget whole life and Mumbai is a metropolitan city that everyone wants to visit again and again. There is something for everyone in “Aamchi Mumbai”. Travel once in a local train in Mumbai and you believe that efficiency is still there in India. The food in Mumbai is very cheap as compared to other cities in India. And don’t forget to try its delicious street food.
People in Mumbai are very polite and friendly and they always guide you properly just in case if you lost the address. The city is peaceful and is safe for everyone and you can easily travel in the night without any worries. I still remember when I spend so many days in “Sapno Ka Shehar” I feel like the concept of “Mera Bharat Mahaan” is really felt in Mumbai India. People from different cities live freely in Mumbai without any barriers for religion, caste or language. The best season to explore Mumbai in March, April, May, June, July, August, September and October and you will definitely fall in love with Mumbai weather.

Marine Drive (Mumbai)
One of the most popular tourist places in Mumbai. It is a 4.3 Km natural bay in Mumbai which is one of the richest areas in the city of “Sapno Ka Shehar”. Few people know its real name i.e “Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road” and local Marathi people called “Sonapur”. Make your moments more special by holding your partner’s hand and walkway at Marine Drive and watch the sunset together. It’s the perfect place to spend some quality time with your lover and make some romantic moments on a beautiful evening. In Night the road looks like a string of pearls and creates a beautiful view and you feel like you are in abroad. Don’t forget to feed your hungry tummy with some mouth-watering street food.
Bandra – Worli Sea Link
The Worli sea link reflects the modern infrastructure of Mumbai India. The bridge looks marvelous and seriously guys you have not seen this type of bridge in India. Basically this bridge connects the Bandra and Worli. Hats of to those engineers who made this beautiful bridge. The bridge looks dam beautiful at night.
Gateway Of India (Mumbai)
One of the best places to visit in Mumbai was built in 1924 by George Willet. It is located in South Mumbai, one of the richest areas of the country. Make a plan to visit in the early morning or late evening hours and enjoy the freshness of air with your family or friends. It is just opposite to Taj Mahal Palace. Drink some tea and coffee from taj palace and take a ride in the vast Arabian Sea. Visit other main tourist destinations that are the nearby Gateway of India.
One of the most popular Hindu Temple in Mumbai, the siddhivinayak temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Every day more than 10000 peoples visit this temple with their family and friends. Many Bollywood actors and actresses visit this temple to seek blessings and offer prayers to Lord Ganesha especially on Tuesday “Pooja”.
I really love this place from the bottom of my heart. The colors of the sky, beautiful sound of the waves making soothing music in your ears that really makes your day. Spend your evening on this Nariman point and let your hairs fly in the air. Trust me guys you will come back again and again. Whenever Mumbaikars feel tired and frustrated they love to go this point after their work.
Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus
Another most beautiful travel destinations in Mumbai is Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus. It is built in the year of 1888 in the British colonial period. In festivals, it looks so beautiful because of the whole terminus decorated with colorful lights. Don’t forget to visit the beautiful and historical museum. They have a wide collection of ancient artworks, sculptures, and artifacts. When you visited this place you will see different types of museums divided into three main categories such as the natural history section, archaeology section, and art section. Here you will see different types of artworks that are made up of wood, metal, jade, and ivory. In one section of the museum, you will see a collection of reptiles, mammals, birds, fishes and much more. The museum has also filled up of one section with a lot of paintings. And the last section displays Indian arms and armor, weapons, shields, and swords. When you are here don’t forget to take the picture. Haji Ali Dargah
One of the most sacred places for Muslims in India i.e Haji Ali Dargah which is located right in the middle of the Arabian Sea. This religious place made up of white marbles and the architecture is based on indo Islamic. Feel the power of peace on this place with your family and friends and enjoy the panoramic view of ravishing deep blue waters. It looks more beautiful in the evening and enjoys the sunset near the sea.
This is one of my most favorite places and you can say it’s the main highlights of Mumbai. It is also known as Dada Sahab Phalke Chitranagri In Mumbai film city you will see a lot of things artificial things like theatres, gardens, lakes, recording rooms and ground. You will feel like you are in a dream world. If you and your friend’s diehard fans of Bollywood, this film city is something where you can watch live Bollywood film shootings.
Nothing can be more romantic than a walk in the Juhu beach by watching the crimson sun and the colorful and cloudy sky with the love of your life. It is one of the spectacular places in Mumbai, where couples love to spend their quality time with their partner from the humdrum of city life. At Juhu beach, you can play in the water and eat some mouth-watering street food like Bhel Puri and Pav Bhaji. You can also plan a surprise date at Juhu beach nearby restaurants.
Mount Mary Church (Mumbai India)
This church is built in 1640 and then it is rebuilt in the year 1761. It is one of the religious places in Mumbai. People believe that the church has healing powers and is often flocked by devotees. It is also true those pray at Mount Mary Church, their wishes will definitely be fulfilled. The Bandra fair or the feast of mount mart is a week-long celebration that is held every September. It’s the best time to visit this beautiful religious place.
